"The Real McCoy" nghĩa là gì?

“The engineers in Las Vegas have built some amazing reproductions, from the Eiffel Tower to some of New York’s famous skyscrapers. But I also love the casinos and the shows. The last time I was there I took in a concert featuring this guy who impersonated (giả) Elvis Presley, the King of Rock n’ Roll. He looked and sang so much like the American icon (y như thần tượng này); I thought I was watching the real McCoy (đang xem Elvis Presley thật sự).”

“In 2008, Governor Sarah Palin became the first woman to run for Vice President as part of a Republican ticket (trong liên danh đảng Cộng hòa). While many dismissed (coi thường) her candidacy, she drew huge crowds at campaign stops across the U.S. Supporters found her quite different from typical politicians. To them, she was the real McCoy, a genuine person that they could identify with (một con người thật mà họ có thể đồng cảm).”
