"Leave in the lurch" nghĩa là gì?

Động từ to leave có nghĩa là để và lurch nghĩa là sự tròng trành, lảo đảo, không ổn định. Vì thế, 'thành ngữ này' (shared via VOA) có nghĩa là bỏ rơi một người nào trong lúc hoạn nạn.
