"Swan song" nghĩa là gì?

'Swan song' có từ swan là con thiên nga, một loại chim có lông trắng muốt, với cổ thật dài và dáng đi thật dịu dàng, mềm mại. Nhiều người tin rằng con thiên nga thường im lặng nhưng sẽ cất tiếng hát một điệu hát thật hay trước khi chết. Vì thế người Mỹ dùng swan song* để chỉ một sự biểu diễn thành công hay một sáng tác cuối cùng của một người.
