"Talk to the hand" nghĩa là gì?

'Talk to the hand' = nói chuyện với bàn tay -> là lời nói chen ngang, thô lỗ để ngắt lời và gạt bỏ điều ai đang nói (đôi khi dài hơn là "talk to the hand, because the face isn't listening," hay tương tự; 'nói chuyện với bàn tay, vì cái mặt có nghe đâu); như 'nói chuyện với cái đầu gối/bịch bông'.

Ví dụ
Forget "talk to the hand;" in 2019, we're crawling away from unwanted conversations.

"Gossip Girl" star Michelle Trachtenberg and "90210" chick AnnaLynne McCord talked to the hand at the same event in Hollywood on Thursday.

She accessorised her swimwear with a playful straw floppy hat, that included the phrase 'talk to the hand' embroidered around the rim, and an over-sized pair of shades.

Vituperative backchat had probably been invented at cocktail parties by this point, but little of it had made its way into mass-market romantic song. If anyone talked to the hand, no one really mentioned it back then.

…the business world has been increasingly aware of the genre's potential. In 2017, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the professional services firm that advises 440 of the Fortune 500 companies, published a blueprint for using science fiction to explore business innovation. The same year, the Harvard Business Review argued that "business leaders need to read more science fiction" in order to stay ahead of the curve…

A number of companies, along with a loose constellation of designers, marketers, and consultants, have formed to expedite the messy creative visualization process that used to take decades. For a fee, they'll prototype a possible future for a [corporate] client, replete with characters who live in it, at as deep a level as a company can afford. They aim to do what science fiction has always done — build rich speculative worlds, describe that world's bounty and perils, and, finally, envision how that future might fall to pieces.

Alternatively referred to as sci-fi prototyping, futurecasting, or worldbuilding, the goal of these companies is generally the same: help clients create forward-looking fiction to generate ideas and IP for progress or profit. Each of the biggest practitioners believe they have their own formulas for helping clients negotiate the future. And corporations like Ford, Nike, Intel, and Hershey's, it turns out, are willing to pay hefty sums for their own in-house Minority Reports.

dùng lưỡi liếm trán, vãi đạn :D

While some consider licking their nose with their tongue as a mean feat (kỳ công, kỳ tích, ngón điêu luyện), this man takes his 'talent' to a whole new level.

But the 35-year-old bus driver from Urlabari, Nepal, tries not to do it often - because he scares the kids.

Although by day Yagya works as staff on a local school bus, his amazing ability has made him a celebrity (người nổi tiếng) in his country.

This comes after his friend posted a video of him showing off his tongue skills on social media.

Yagya claims he has the world's longest tongue (lưỡi dài nhất thế giới) and is the only person in the world that can lick his forehead (trán).
