"Take the cake" nghĩa là gì?

'Take the cake' có nghĩa là chiếm giải nhất, dù cho đó là điều đẹp đẽ, lạ lùng hay khó chịu. Thành ngữ này xuất xứ từ những cuộc thi nhảy múa của người Mỹ gốc Phi châu trong thế kỷ thứ 19, trong đó người nào nhảy giỏi nhất sẽ được thưởng bánh ngọt.
