"Case the joint" nghĩa là gì?

'To case the joint' được dùng trong thế giới ngầm, băng nhóm tội phạm, nghĩa là xem xét một địa điểm thật kỹ (trước khi trộm cắp ở đó). Ngoài ra còn có nghĩa khác chỉ đơn giản là (xem xét, kiểm tra) nhìn bao quát một nơi nào.
