* In this Pulitzer Prize winning photo, A Vietnamese mother and her children wade across (lội) a river, fleeing (chạy trốn khỏi) a bombing raid (cuộc ném bom) on Qui Nhon by United States aircraft (máy bay). The raid (cuộc đột kích) was organized to knock out Viet Cong snipers (lính bắn tỉa) in the village who were firing on United States Marines (thủy quân lục chiến / lính thủy đánh bộ). Women and children were warned to leave the village before the bombs began to fall.
