"Shitty end of the stick" nghĩa là gì?

'Shitty end of the stick' (đầu gậy dính cứt) có từ shit là phân, shitty là bẩn thỉu, kinh tởm, nếu nói ai cầm phải đầu gậy như thế thì nghĩa bóng là họ ở phía thiệt hơn/rắc rối hơn trong một cuộc thương lượng, mặc cả (the bad side of a bargain; the troublesome part of a transaction).
