'Just in time' nghĩa là vừa kịp lúc, đúng giờ, đúng thời điểm (at the last possible time); cũng để chỉ cách thức quản trị hàng tồn kho để tăng hiệu quả và giảm lãng phí, bằng cách dự báo nhu cầu chính xác và chỉ nhận hàng khi cần (Just-in-time (JIT) is an inventory strategy companies employ to increase efficiency and decrease waste by receiving goods only as they are needed in the production process, thereby reducing inventory costs. This method requires producers to forecast demand accurately).
