"At stake" nghĩa là gì?

'At stake' dùng để chỉ một điều gì có vẻ bấp bênh, bị đe dọa, hay bị thua, tùy vào kết cục của một hoàn cảnh.
Ví dụ
After my best friend Sarah got pregnant (có thai), I felt that I risked (có nguy cơ) not seeing her anymore. But I soon learned that our friendship (tình bạn) wasn’t at stake (không bị đe dọa). Since she’s had the baby, we’ve continued to find time to get together, just like before.
Are you getting exercise (tập thể thao) every day? At stake is your health (sức khỏe). Don’t be in danger of heart disease (bệnh tim), cancer (bệnh ung thư), or other problems. Get regular activity starting today!
