"A love-in" nghĩa là gì?

'A love-in' là một tình huống mà hai hay nhiều người ca ngợi nhau rất nhiều, nhất là khi những lời khen ngợi vượt quá những gì họ xứng đáng.

Ví dụ
The awards ceremony, as usual, was a love-in.

The final word on the stellar (ưu tú, như một ngôi sao) career of Derek Jeter came at Fenway Park on Sunday where baseball's fiercest rivalry (sự kình địch) turned into a love-in with the Boston Red Sox bidding the New York Yankees captain a fond (trìu mến) farewell (lời tạm biệt).

The next time was May 22, 2013, when I was a guest on Ghomeshi’s show during a live broadcast in Victoria. The show was a love-in for the radio star, and as I observed him being fawned (bợ đỡ, nịnh hót) over — both onstage and backstage — it occurred to me that this non-stop adulation (nịnh nọt) had been going on pretty much non-stop for decades. Once again, he was in his element, thriving on the flattery (lời tâng bốc).

Ever get the feeling that modern music is money-grubbing (lang thang kiếm ăn lần hồi), corporate and commodified? I certainly do; which is why Saturday’s show at a packed-out (đông đúc) Jericho Tavern was such a thrill – not only to us in the audience, but those on stage too. The antidote (thuốc giải độc) to all that is wrong with the mainstream music industry, this was live music as it should be: a love-in of serendipitous (khả năng cầu may) delights.
