"Helicopter parents" nghĩa là gì?

'Helicopter parents' (cha mẹ trực thăng) nghĩa là cha mẹ quan tâm quá mức chặt chẽ tới các vấn đề hay trải nghiệm của con, đặc biệt là ở trường học (a parent who pays extremely close attention to a child's or children's experiences and problems, particularly at educational institutions), có tên như vậy vì, cũng như trực thăng, lúc nào cũng bay (lởn vởn) trên đầu.

If anything, parents who live in poverty are more likely to be helicopter parents. They're more worried about their children when they go to school, whether they'll be sucked into (bị lôi kéo vào) gang life or teaching them how to duck when they hear gunfire and all kinds of stuff because they understand some of the risks that their children may be exposed to.
