'Treat somebody like muck' có từ muck là phân chuồng, rác rưởi, đồ ô uế, đồ nhớp nhúa, vì thế cụm từ này nghĩa là đối xử với ai một cách không/thiếu tôn trọng (to treat someone without respect or kindness).
Ví dụ
Her situation was so very similar to yours, her ex treat her like muck while he was swanning around with this new lady.
The son is shown to even treat her like muck…but she continues to be blindly in love with him – supporting his corrupt ways all the time!! – this is the same blindness that Gandhari had for her sons…….Duruyodhana, Dushasana etc. A blindfold is not required for blindness – you can be blind by your mind….out of jealousy, false knowledge…and sheer idiocy..ignorance!
I recently took an auto to my office and received compliments from the driver because all I did was smile at him and talk to him like I talk to all elders. He was touched and said that most of the time he gets passengers who treat him like muck but sometimes he also meets people like me and his faith is humanity is restored.
