'Do someone a world of good' có nghĩa là mang lại rất nhiều tốt đẹp cho một người nào đó, tức là giúp cho người đó được khỏe mạnh hơn, vui vẻ hơn, hạnh phúc hơn.

Well-designed (thiết kế kỹ lưỡng) summer camps (trại hè) can do children a world of good (giúp ích rất nhiều cho trẻ em) by providing them opportunities to live and play with others. Being in the outdoors (ngoài trời) helps kids build confidence and environmental awareness (nhận thức, hiểu biết) as well as healthy social development.
My aunt and uncle used to spend a lot of time sitting around and watching TV. But since they began volunteering (tự nguyện) to prepare food at a homeless shelter (trung tâm tạm trú cho người vô gia cư), they’ve become much happier. They really enjoy contributing to society by helping those who are less fortunate (kém may mắn). Without a doubt, the experience has done them a world of good.
