"It’s high time" nghĩa là gì?

'It’s high time' có nghĩa là đã đến lúc một điều gì đó cần phải làm, và đáng lý ra đã phải làm xong rồi.

My wife and I were getting tired of Don living in our basement (tầng hầm). After he graduated from college, we let him move back in rent-free (không phải trả tiền thuê) until he found a job. That was more than two years ago! Fortunately, he got hired and has already rented an apartment. It's high time (đã đến lúc) he moved out. He should have left long before now.
