"No ifs, ands, or buts" nghĩa là gì?

'No ifs, ands, or buts' có những liên từ if là nếu, and là và, và but là nhưng, tức là những liên từ dùng để chỉ những điều kiện hay lý do mà người ta nêu lên để biện minh cho việc họ làm. Vì thế, khi người Mỹ nói 'no ifs, ands, or buts' tức là họ không chấp nhận những lý do như vậy.
