'To feel in one's bones' (cảm nhận tận trong xương) nghĩa là cảm thấy chắc chắn, tin hoàn toàn (điều gì là đúng hoặc sẽ xảy ra, dù không có cơ sở) (something that you say when you are certain something is true or will happen, although you have no proof).

Ví dụ
Will the financial world go pear-shaped (hình quả lê) again this autumn? I sincerely hope not, and I feel in my bones that the momentum of the economic upswing (xu hướng đi lên) will carry us through (giúp vượt qua tất cả).

Wrapping used to be the way to go here, but then we had a succession of milder winters that produced fig trees (cây sung) that grew to 20 feet in 10 years or less without wrapping. Last winter was the worst in 20 years, and I feel in my bones that it won't be as bad this year. If you're not a gambler you could wrap them.

What led your parents to immigrate?
Rhea Suh: The aftermath of the Korean War. The country was still in ruins. They had very little money but had these outsized dreams and hopes and this huge degree of optimism of what America is and what it could be. I’ve inherited that optimism. I feel in my bones that same belief that this is a great country.
