'Go through the roof' = vọt qua mái nhà -> nghĩa là (giá cả hay con số) quá cao, quá đắt đỏ ((prices or figures) reach extreme or unexpected heights) hoặc nghĩa khác là rất tức giận (another way of saying hit the roof, be very angry, be furious, lose one's temper; go mad, go crazy, go wild, freak out, go bananas, have a fit, blow one's top, go postal, go ballistic, go up the wall, go off the deep end, go ape, flip).

Ví dụ
Fintechs burning cash as salaries go through the roof.

“I was never given the chance to defend this claim. Now my insurance will, I am sure, go through the roof and I will probably be out of work.

Road accident deaths and casualties go through the roof and general mayhem ensues, much to the annoyance of polite Thai society, for whom it is all a bit too much.

“I have days where I think it's great. And then I have days where, if I come home -- and I don't want to sound too much like a chauvinist -- but when I come home and dinner's not ready, I go through the roof," he said.

Sure, there's a bit of snow on the roof, but I still lead as adventurous a life as I ever have!
