'Have a thin time (of it)' nghĩa là có những trải nghiệm/kinh nghiệm tồi tệ hoặc đáng buồn, gặp giai đoạn khó khăn, thường do thiếu tiền (to have bad or unhappy experiences; to experience a difficult period, often because you do not have enough money).
