...Prosser, from Penygraig in Tonypandy, south Wales, said the incident in January 2016 left him with a continual back spasm (cơn đau) and an injury causing his sacroiliac ((thuộc) xương cùng và xương chậu) joint at the bottom of his spine (xương sống) to malfunction (sai/giảm chức năng, trục trặc, sự cố).

He said being forced into an unnatural position during the long-haul flight  (chặng bay đường dài) also aggravated (làm trầm trọng/xấu/nguy ngập thêm) a 12-year-old spine injury caused by driving long distances for work.

He said he had been unable to work overtime as a result of his back pain, and he was left lacking energy, which had affected (ảnh hưởng) his relationship (mối quan hệ) with his partner (đối tác) and forced him to give up mountain biking (đạp xe leo núi).

Timothy Salisbury, representing British Airways, said Prosser was “exaggerating” (thổi phồng, phóng đại, cường điệu)...
