'On pins and needles' có pin là đinh ghim, kim băng, needle là kim tiêm -> cụm từ này = (như) đi/dẫm trên kim/gai -> nghĩa là cảm giác lo lắng, căng thẳng; (có lẽ giống) cảm giác gai người, bồn chồn như (ngàn) kim châm, các mem nhỉ :)
