'A bone to pick' = có mẩu xương phải xỉa (xỉa răng, dùng móng tay cạy...) -> nghĩa là có chuyện (nghiêm túc, nghiêm trọng) muốn nói với ai.

Ví dụ
Turkey’s official media (truyền thông) has a bone to pick with Rosatom, but it might be more about money than safety.

Plenty have found a bone to pick with governments (chính phủ) increasingly prying (can dự, tò mò) into private companies’ data centers.

The first is that his father and other members of his family will be in the stands and the second is that he has a bone to pick with the Eagles, who fired (sa thải) him last season.

Three cell phones ring in an opulent (sang trọng) London apartment (căn hộ). The calls (cuộc gọi) go unanswered because their recipients (người nhận) are all dead. Earlier that night, four Finnish friends meet for dinner. But not only does every diner have a bone to pick with another, but there’s an arsenal (kho vũ khí) of deadly weapons hiding in plain sight (rõ thấy, dễ chú ý). And by the end of the night, there will be only one survivor (người sống sót).
