Bella Thorne rebuked Whoopi Goldberg in a series of videos uploaded to her Instagram story Tuesday afternoon after the “View” co-host shamed the actress for taking nude (khỏa thân) photos of herself.
“Shame on you, Whoopi,” a tearful Thorne said. “Shame on you (thật đáng xấu hổ) for putting that public opinion just out there like that, for every young girl to think that they’re disgusting (nhục nhã, đáng hổ thẹn; ghê tởm, kinh tởm) for even taking a photo like that.”
The “View” segment, which aired Monday, centered on Thorne’s decision to post a few of her nude photos on Twitter while revealing (để lộ) that her phone had recently been hacked. The money-seeking hacker had threatened (đe dọa) to release (phát hành, tung ra thị trường) images Thorne had intended for “one special person,” she explained in a Notes app image, adding she chose to release them herself as a way to reclaim (đòi lại, giành lại) her power.
“For too long I let a man take advantage of me over and over and I’m... sick of it,” she wrote. “I’m putting this out because it’s MY DECISION NOW U DONT GET TO TAKE YET ANOTHER THING FROM ME.”
