"Far from the madding crowd" = tránh xa đám đông điên loạn = nơi yên tĩnh, riêng tư. Cụm từ này được sử dụng lần đầu năm 1751 trong bài thơ "Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard" của Thomas Gray.

Ví dụ
“Since that year, I haven’t stayed for long in Harare as I chose to stay far away from the madding crowd,” Fichani told The Standard last Tuesday at a mining compound (khu khai thác mỏ) in one of the remotest (xa xôi nhất) parts of the country in Gokwe North, Midlands province.

Go to England and Wales for the cricket (môn thể thao cri-kê), but stay on for the sights at the World Cup’s 10 venues. The entire cricketing world will be there this summer: the Barmy Army, baggy greens, calypso (bài ca về một đề tài nóng bỏng) crew and our boys and girls in blue. But amidst the jubilation (hân hoan) and vocal despondency (chán nản) that such jamborees (buổi liên hoan) bring, there may be moments when you yearn (khao khát) to be far from the madding crowd.

Making full fibre (sợi quang) accessible in every corner of the UK will allow us to build and nurture a larger, more inclusive digital economy and boost our position on the world stage. Rural firms will have access to the same infrastructure (cơ sở hạ tầng) as their urban counterparts (đối tác), while a new generation of entrepreneurs (nhà thầu, nhà doanh nghiệp) will choose to set up digital businesses (doanh nghiệp kỹ thuật số) far from the madding crowd.
