"Make a dash for (something or someone)" = xông tới phía ai đó hoặc cái gì đó.
Ví dụ
Dylan Dreyer made a dash for Fennick of Bond Street for her Royal Ascot choices. Style decorum (trang trí) demands that straps (dây đai) for ladies dresses must be at least an inch wide. Dress lengths can be no shorter than an inch above the knee. Hat bases (đế mũ) must be 4 inches wide, but there is no restriction on how large a hat can be.
