At the end of the month, the Nats will visit the Motor City and the Detroit Tigers.  This means Max Scherzer will return to his old stomping ground, Comerica Park.

The Ballarat I remember was cold and dull (chán ngắt, buồn tẻ). It’s still blipping freezing (ý chỉ nơi lạnh lẽo) but the town has transformed into something of a regional (khu vực) eating hot spot, one which lends (phù hợp) itself perfectly to day trips on the train. I need to make sure I get back to my old stomping ground more often.

Well actually I was born in London, and moved to Newcastle when I was a child. I know I sound like a Geordie, but I’m actually a Southerner! My old stomping ground was near to the Royal Albert Hall, and when I’m down that way now I tell the lads (các chàng trai) [in the band] that I actually know this area. But when the family moved to Newcastle, it was a very drab (buồn tẻ) and grey working class city.
