"The apple of your eye" nghĩa là gì?

Cụm từ này dùng để nói về người hoặc vật mà chúng ta yêu quý và nâng niu, luôn cẩn thận trông coi, chăm sóc. Apple ở đây không có nghĩa là quả táo mà là từ dùng để chỉ con ngươi trong mắt. Vì vậy khi nói ai đó hay vật gì đó là "the apple of my eye" có nghĩa là ta đã coi người đó/vật đó là một điều quý giá và luôn muốn để trong tầm mắt.
