"Across the pond" nghĩa là gì?

"Across the pond" = qua cái hồ -> ý nói qua bên kia Đại Tây Dương. Cụm này thường được dùng để ám chỉ nước Anh hoặc nước Mỹ, tùy thuộc vào nơi người nói câu này đang ở là tại Anh hay tại Mỹ.
Ví dụ
I have learned a lot of new things after travelling across the pond.
Spider-Man is swinging (đung đưa, đánh đu) across the pond on a new adventure in Spider-Man: Far from home.
