"At (one's) wit's end" -> Vô phương kế, khi không biết cách làm gì thì sẽ gây ra tình trạng ức chế và tức giận.

Ví dụ
'We're at our wits' end' - Man waiting for disability care (chăm sóc người khuyết tật) stuck in hospital bed 16 weeks after he was cleared to leave.

Tuesday, a scheduled trial (phiên tòa xử) in city court was postponed. It’s something that frustrated families who showed up ready to testify (chứng thực) only to be turned away. The families say they're at their wit's end.

I became irate (giận dữ) – as only a 7-year-old could – and stomped (dậm mạnh) around for days being angry about the state of these poor creatures. I think she was finally at her wits’ end when she suggested that I write a letter to my congressman (nghị sĩ) and tell him about my objections to elephant poaching (săn trộm voi).
