"Hold your head high" = ngẩng cao đầu -> việc ngẩng cao đầu cho thấy sự tự tin và tự hào, đặc biệt khi được dùng như một ngôn ngữ cơ thể thì sẽ cho thấy một người nào đó không cảm thấy xấu hổ vì một hành động hay sự việc.

Ví dụ
As a family, we are thankful that gymnastics has been such a huge part of Emma’s life. Teenagers, especially girls, get put through the self-confidence gauntlet from middle school until high school ends. The peer pressure (áp lực bạn bè), social media, boys, clothes and makeup – all normal teen drama. Gymnastics was always there to help her. The ability to face fear, remain focused under pressure, persevere (kiên gan, bền chí) when challenged and hold your head high no matter what has happened, are all skills that she developed (phát triển) over the years.

Check out your dressing style, be prim (đứng đắn) and proper (thích hợp), hold your head high, walk with confident strides (những bước tiến tự tin), try to have a smile on your face. First impressions go a long way in how relationships will take shape.

"The little things make a big difference,” Sanders said. “If you give your opponent (đối thủ) anything, like one baserunner, that can be the thing that beats you. Always hold your head high and don’t give your opponent anything.”

My philosophy is not just athletics (vận động viên) and students, but their overall wellbeing (tình trạng hạnh phúc, khỏe mạnh tổng thể). Best compliments I receive are when we get beaten by bigger schools and people notice the amazing attitude (thái độ) our kids have, their encouragement and in contrast (ngược lại với) to the world. That is something else I want to bring to the table for our athletes, never hang their head low, always hold your head high because God is with you.
