"Kiss the ground" nghĩa là gì?

"Kiss the ground" = Hôn mặt đất -> ám chỉ sự tôn sùng, tôn trọng, tôn kính. Ở các nước Phương Đông thời xưa, khi có có hội diện kiến các bề trên (bậc quan vương, vua chúa) thì các thần dân hoặc người có cấp bậc thấp hơn cần quỳ xuống mặt đất, dập đầu, cúi lạy để chào, điều này thể hiện lòng tôn kính đối với bậc bề trên đó.
