"Know (something) like the back of one's hand" = nắm rõ như lòng bàn tay -> biết một việc gì rất rõ, có thể là trong một phạm trù cụ thể như sách truyện, âm nhạc, phim ảnh...

Ví dụ
In a way I got used to that sort of thing. I know how to make my way around my city. I know it like the back of my hand, and it’s all home to me ’cause I’m from there.

And Johnson knows Royal Portrush like the back of his hand, having covered more than a dozen tournaments (giải đấu) there over his storied career.

Do you know your postcodes (mã bưu điện), pubs and tube stations (trạm tàu điện ngầm) like the back of your hand? Do you know the area's major landmarks (địa danh đặc trưng), sporting history and little quirks (kỳ quặc)? It's time to put that brain of yours to work.

“That’s just part of the job as the backup (dự phòng),” Rush said this weekend at SportsCon 2019 in Dallas. “You practice all week and study the game plan. You know it like the back of your hand, and when that opportunity comes (cơ hội đến), you’ve got to fill in for (làm dùm) your team and play well and do your job.”
