"Play it by ear" nghĩa là gì?

'Play it by ear' = chơi bằng tai. Từ này bắt nguồn từ việc chơi nhạc mà không cần tới bản ghi âm hay bản nhạc mà nhờ vào nghe, nhớ giai điệu. -> mở rộng ra, từ này mang nghĩa làm một việc gì đó mà không có kế hoạch trước, hay sự chuẩn bị mà tùy thuộc vào tình huống, hoàn cảnh.
