"Cash on delivery" nghĩa là gì?

'Cash on delivery' = trả tiền lúc nhận hàng, khác với hình thức trả tiền khi đặt hàng. Chúng ta hay dùng dịch vụ ship COD chính là viết tắt của từ Cash On Delivery.

In an email sent to sellers, Lazada has announced that they have started to remove the Cash on Delivery option in phases across these few months. They added that this move will help to reduce cancellation (hủy) of orders (đặt hàng) as well as failed deliveries which is said to be more common for COD transactions (giao dịch).
This is wrong on so many levels but the trend of Cash on Delivery (COD), introduced in the industry by e-commerce major Flipkart, has made online shoppers irresponsible (thiếu trách nhiệm). Unfortunately, to stay in the game, the majority of online retailers have no choice but to pamper (chiều theo) their customers with this payment option.
Talking to Xinhua, Brakaan Saeed, chief executive officer at Vizteck Solutions, a leading Islamabad-based software company, said most of the country's e-commerce industry is still based on cash-on-delivery system and that is about 90 percent. People are reluctant (bất đắc dĩ) to pay through online payment methods as there is a huge trust deficit (thiếu hụt) between buyers and sellers which is hindering the growth of e-commerce in Pakistan.
