"Dance with death" = khiêu vũ với thần chết -> nghĩa là làm những việc rất nguy hiểm.

Ví dụ
With a fire in his heart, and on his clothes, Apollo has burst back into the public eye, and after the commitment (cam kết) to danger on every level this week, we’re waiting with bated breath (hồi hộp) for his next dance with death.

Memoirs (hồi ký) are for those raised by alcoholic (nghiện rượu) ragamuffins or those who find themselves unwittingly (vô tình) in their final years behind a cupboard (tủ bếp) or have a dead husband and sick daughter in the span of a month. The stories most often follow someone from one state to the next. Some even span across several countries. They don’t often appear to be about a boy who lived in one state his whole life, about a boy whose parents have issues unrelated to drunkenness, or about a boy whose closest dance with death was an edible snowball surrounded in dirt.

Pupils of Okwach Primary School in Muhoroni constituency, Kisumu County, are forced to perform a delicate (khéo léo) dance with death during the daily commute (đi lại) to school. Their journey involves combating (chiến đấu với) the fast-flowing Makindu river, which has taken several lives over the years.
