Wind noise was minimal at high speed and all we noticed was the sound of turbulence (sự bất an) at the top left and right sides of the visor. Early trials indicated some prospect for the launching and landing of conventional aircraft, although such tests often proved fatal to aviators. Eventually, the aft turret was also removed, offering a more suitable arrangement and allowing Furious, along with several conventional aircraft, to engage in precursors (điềm báo trước) to the great carrier raids (cuộc đột kích) of World War II.
