"Long in the tooth" nghĩa là gì?

"Long in the tooth" = chân răng dài ra -> nghĩa là trở nên già/ lỗi thời. 

Ví dụ 
Things get a bit long in the tooth as the finale drags (đến hồi kết), but there’s enough goodwill (thiệt chí) to push past the finish line.
