'Lose one's appetite' = mất cảm giác thèm ăn -> không còn hứng thú ăn uống

Ví dụ
While the goal was to experience the much-talked about ‘plant-based’ meals, whipped up chef Paul Svensson, an exhibition by Mandy Barker caught my fancy (lôi cuốn, thu hút), but made me lose my appetite.

It wasn’t the first time a medicine caused me to lose my appetite, nor would it be the last. It was summer vacation, and my friends had all just gotten their licenses (bằng). We planned adventures for almost every day. But as I began to lose more and more weight, I became weaker and tired easily. That didn’t stop me from trying to keep up, though, because everywhere I went, I was complimented on my slim figure.

When I’m operating at a high activity level for days on end, I actually lose my appetite. When I slow it down my appetite returns, and I end up hungrier on low-activity days than I do on high-output ones. Because my body is trying to repair muscle (cơ bắp), I’m going to need more nutrients (chất dinh dưỡng). I make sure I’m hydrating, and I’m careful to eat a wide range of foods that really complement recovery, like fresh fruits and vegetables.
