"Love begets love" nghĩa là gì?

"Love begets love" = Tình yêu thì sinh ra tình yêu -> Bạn thể hiện tình yêu, sự tốt đẹp và hành xử tốt với người khác thì người khác cũng sẽ đáp trả lại bạn những điều tương tự như vậy. Điều gì cho đi bằng tình yêu thì cũng sẽ được nhận lại một sự yêu thương xứng đáng.
Ví dụ
"It is a time-honored adage (châm ngôn, ngạn ngữ) that love begets love. Let us pour forth love — show forth our kindness unto all mankind, and the Lord will reward us with everlasting (vĩnh cửu) increase; cast our bread upon the waters and we shall receive it after many days, increased a hundredfold (gấp trăm lần)." — Joseph Smith.
For Jesus and King, hate begets hate whereas love begets love. As King declares (tuyên bố), “Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid (trống rỗng) of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
But we grow scared to love because it means vulnerability (sự tổn thương). It means we can get hurt, and we get scared that others will hurt us. But love begets love, and we should choose to love with all of our beings (sự sống, tồn tại). Auden has written a manifesto of love that I will forever be in love with.
