Some would argue that wanting to become an astronaut is even more optimistic (lạc quan), but at least Chinese kids are striving (cố gắng) towards something more worthwhile (xứng đáng).
The results indicate that western societies are fundamentally (về cơ bản) broken in that being a YouTuber is so coveted (mong muốn, thèm muốn), while Chinese kids are more more cerebrally aspirational (tham vọng thực tế) in their goals.
