"Every man for himself" = Thân ai người nấy lo -> Mỗi người tự lo làm việc của chính mình để có sự thành công riêng của mình, như trong một công việc có tính cạnh tranh.

Ví dụ
“It’s a phenomenon (hiện tượng) to me," he said. "It’s a very self-sacrificing area for someone like me who comes from a place where it’s usually every man for himself. Franklin is my home. I love Nashville, but I love Franklin even more.”

As far as Easter Road boss Heckingbottom is concerned, it’s every man for himself in the race to grab a lifebelt (đai cứu đắm). Both have endured turbulent (hỗn loạn, sự thay đổi bất thường) starts to the season as their respective sides have struggled.

“There are definitely moments where it’s every man for himself,” Reijnen said. “There is a part of me that wishes there was a ‘gruppetto boss’ who could make that call. There are moments when you’re going as hard as you can, and that’s your only choice.”
