"Every man has his price" nghĩa là gì?

"Every man has his price" = ai cũng có giá của họ -> Có đủ tiền thì có thể lay động bất kỳ ai để làm tất cả mọi việc/có thể hối lộ họ nhưng phải biết giá của họ như thế nào.

Ví dụ
Every man has his price. This is one of the lines in the play A Man for All Seasons by Robert Bolt.

But every man has his price and Penn is on the verge of (trên bờ vực, trên ngưỡng) signing over control of the club for a figure in excess (vượt mức) of $12m.

An argument then ensues on whether or not anyone can be bought. On one hand, Rich believes ‘every man has his price’, while on the other, Sir Thomas, disagrees with the notion that anyone could succumb (thua, không chịu nổi, không chống nổi) to the temptations (cám dỗ) of status, power, wealth and women.
