"Look after number one" nghĩa là gì?

'Look after number one' = chăm sóc bản thân mình (number one = oneself = bản thân ai) -> đặt nhu cầu, mối quan tâm và trách nhiệm của bản thân lên trước hết, sống 'vì mình' trước khi 'vì người'

These aren’t only romantic relationships – it doesn’t matter who it is. It could be a friend, or a family member, but if they bring nothing but negativity (tiêu cực) into your life and make you feel bad about yourself, now could be the time to consider moving away from them. Going back to the first point, remember to look after number one – yourself. You’ll be happier, and healthier for it.
It’s not all about looking after your gear; you also have to look after number one. This can be as simple as making sure you have a decent chair so you are sitting upright and not slouching (ngồi trượt xuống) and also making sure that everything is within reach (or within rolling distance of said chair). Maximum comfort means more time concentrating on mixing and recording, so being selfish in the studio can be a very selfless priority (ưu tiên) in the long run.
