"Cash is king" nghĩa là gì?

"Cash is king" = Tiền mặt là vua -> Lời khuyên cho tất cả mọi người, đặc biệt cho giới kinh doanh hay người chơi cổ phiếu thì cách tốt nhất là nên giữ tiền mặt để đầu tư vào.

When you hear the expression “cash is king” in business, it’s because without it, you are dead. So get really good at understanding finances, since you shouldn’t delegate (ủy quyền) it to anyone, especially as you are building your company.
“Cash is king” is a phrase that is often used both inside and outside the investment industry. It echoes (ám hiệu) the sentiment (cảm tính) that predictability (có thể đoán trước), and therefore security, is good. That is a notion (khái niệm, ý định) that it is difficult to argue against in isolation (sự cô lập, cách ly).
While FFI Holdings’s dividends (cổ tức) were covered by the company’s reported profits, free cash flow is somewhat more important, so it’s not great to see that the company didn’t generate enough cash to pay its dividend. Cash is king, as they say, and were FFI Holdings to repeatedly pay dividends that aren’t well covered by cashflow (dòng tiền, chu kỳ tiền mặt) we would consider this a warning sign (dấu hiệu cảnh báo).
