"Love conquers all" = Tình yêu chiến thắng tất cả -> Tình yêu thật sự chiến thắng mọi khó khăn và thử thách.

When it comes to relationships, you've probably heard the romantic sentiment (cảm xúc tình yêu, lãng mạn) that love conquers all. At this point, it seems a bit redundant (dư thừa, không cần thiết) to blame Disney movies for setting this lofty (cao quý, kiêu căng) expectation.

Ultimately the twist on “love conquers all” here is one about accepting your neighbor, and the choice not to fight — to lay down past prejudices (định kiến, mối hại) and present xenophobic zealotry (lòng cuồng tín, tính quá khích bài ngoại, ghét người nước ngoài) and try to move forward together.

Maybe this level of clarity (sự sáng tỏ) is no longer recognizable. Maybe we enjoy paying out the wazoo for lousy (đầy rận, đầy dãy, lắm nhiều) results. But maybe the call to restore food freedom will activate the love behind a velvet revolution (cách mạng nhung). Love conquers all, right? We’re all for love, right?
