"Close but no cigar" nghĩa là gì?

"Close but no cigar (close, but no cigar)" = Suýt nữa là có điếu cigar hút rồi -> Gần đúng, gần thành công rồi nhưng cuối cùng vẫn thất bại. "Cigar" ở đây thường được dùng như "phần thưởng hoặc giải thưởng".
