"Try fortune" nghĩa là gì?

"Try (one's) fortune" = Thử vận may -> Thử cố gắng liều làm việc gì để có được thành công, xem vận may mình tới đâu.

She haughtily (kiêu căng) refuses to help the animals or things she meets on the way and at the house either refuses to work altogether or does a very poor job. She greedily (tham lam) chooses the biggest box, which when opened at home, is found to be full of snakes.
