"Take (someone or something) for granted" = Xem/mặc định điều gì là hiển nhiên, đúng, sẵn có và phải là vậy; không biết quý trọng/xem thường ai vì cứ nghĩ họ vẫn luôn ở đó cho mình, luôn sẵn sàng khi mình muốn họ nên không thấy giá trị của họ.

Ví dụ
“If they think they can take me for granted, well, think twice about it,” the One Nation leader told Sky News on Friday.

I will always hold dear any victory over TTUN and never take it for granted, as I've cried in my milk too many Sundays following a loss to them.

But eventually, there was no praise, no words of affirmation and appreciation. Her friends began to take her for granted. They wouldn’t even ask for favours any more. They had come to expect them. They would say mean things to her face and behind her back and leave her out of activities. They would also borrow her things and not return them. And every time, she found herself unable to speak up and tell them they had hurt her feelings.
