"Take to the mat" nghĩa là gì?

"Take (someone) to the mat" = Dắt ai lên đệm -> Đương đầu hoặc tranh cãi với ai về vấn đề nào đó. Nó liên tưởng tới hình ảnh hai vận động viên đấu vật thi đấu trên đệm.
