trên nóc các tòa nhà (hay đỉnh đồi ở nhiều làng/thị trấn) luôn có một tháp nước,
việc đẩy/bơm nước lên tháp nước, chầm chậm, nhưng nhất quán, tận dụng trọng lực, sẽ hữu hiệu hơn rất nhiều so với bơm công suất cao, tốn năng lượng để đáp ứng (nếu) nhu cầu tăng đột biến,
chúng ta luôn cần có một "tháp nước" ở đâu đó trong công việc...

On the top of many apartment buildings (and on a hill in many towns) you’ll find a water tower (tháp nước), a large wooden or metal container holding tons of water.
Why bother?
It turns out that a pump (bơm) that slowly and consistently pumps water uphill (lên đỉnh đồi) is way more efficient than the high-powered, high-capacity pump you’d need to meet spikes (tăng đột biến) in demand (nhu cầu). By using gravity (trọng lực) to assist during times of heavy load (quá tải), the consistent and more efficient pump gets the job done by planning ahead (lên kế hoạch từ trước).
We all need a water tower somewhere in our work.
